This site looks AMAZING! You and Gabriel have done such a terrific job with it.

Having read both "Song of Turand" and "Return to Turand", then being privileged to have been part of a very small circle who has already read the Chikondra Trilogy, having been here to watch its development, having seen it grow from being one book to three volumes... I am continually astounded at your tremendous talent and continue to marvel at how easily your stories flow out of you onto the printed page!

I'm sure Chikondra.com will receive many visitors, and that your circle of friends and your readership will continue to grow beyond your wildest expectations. You certainly deserve it!

Love to you!

Good morning! Jan, although I am blushing a bit, I won't lie and say I don't appreciate every word you wrote. I do feel the part of being gifted as a tool to tell these specail and unique stories.

There is no way to explain what the Turand series means to me.
As far as The Chikondra Trilogy, I firmly believe it deserves its own special recognition. Yes, these stories can be seen for their entertainment value. Far beyond that, there are aspects I hope will give readers much to think on and will satisfy those who want something not so superficial.

To that end, I am hoping to have specific discussions here about the characters themselves as well as some of the situations they face.

Again, thank you so much for your vote of confidence. Turand and beautiful music guided our paths to cross. How glad I am!

Success at last---hooray!!

As well as being food for thought Chikondra is a wonderfully gripping story containing love, adventure, personal relationships, and a big spiritual element as well and lots, lots more.
Once you have started reading it is hard to put down. I was very privileged to read each chapter as it was written, and was always
impatient for the next email.
When I had read the first of the trilogy to be published"Guardian Redeemed"I just had to find my original printed pages to carry on with the story, I couldn't leave it in the air.

I found Sandra's first two books "Song of Turand" and Return to Turand" equally enthralling.

Okay, to those minds who just have to know, I do intend to send the manuscript for Whispers from Prophecy this week to my trusted publishing consultant, Mr. Jon Lineback. I have invited him to stop in. Hopefully, you'll get the chance to chat with him. His absolutely fantastic!

As far as the chat today on our alternative site, it was terrific with all the ideas for promoting the Chikondra series.

I am also looking at starting some discussion on topics that specifically relate to Guardian Redeemed. Of course, most will also tie into the sequels. I am thinking to discuss subjects that include:

*Esoteric aspects
*Relationships between different cultures
*Intimacy and sexuality as portrayed in Guardian Redeemed
*Prejudice and how it can affect people's reactions to different situations
*Faith in the face of tragedy
*Faith practices in the joint lives of people from different backgrounds

These are initial ideas. I am open to further suggestions. I believe Guardian Redeemed covers a wide variety of life experiences to which many of us can relate. This is a haven where we can discuss them openly and respectfully.

Greetings all. Today was an exciting Saturday with my first solo signing at Barnes and Noble in Pickerington, Ohio. The staff there, especially Kim, John, and Theresa, were terrific. The table they placed at the front of the store was quickly set up with copies of Guardian Redeemed, lots of matching cards and bookmarks, and a crystal Quazon gleaming atop an octagonal mirror.

Even before the table display was ready, a lady came up and asked me to autograph a book for her. Whether by coincidence or sign, her name was also Sandra. About an hour later, as she left the store, she said she had already started reading the book and she was really liking it.

I was fortunate to have friends come out to show their support. I met new people who took away their own copies of Guardian Redeemed. I am hopeful to hear from some of them in the future.

One of the things I enjoyed most was discussing the basis of the story and, of course, relating the nearly unbelievable tale of how the cover came to be. I was totally charmed by those who came to ask questions. All in all, we had a very successful event. More important was the satisfaction I enjoyed in promoting what I believe to be a wonderful new book.

Now, I look forward to the Mad Anthony Writers Conference and Book Festival next weekend.

Good morning! Well, here's some big news. The electronic galley came back yesterday for Whispers from Prophecy. The paper galley should be on its way to my mailbox very soon. What does this mean? We're on the final path to making Whispers from Prophecy a real book.

Also, this weekend will find me in Cleveland, Westlake to be more precise, for a book signing event at Barnes & Noble. I am very excited about this opportunity and very appreciative of the support from Barnes & Noble.

More later!

Hello there. I apologize for not being around for a while. I have been busy getting to work on the galley and reviewing details for the cover for Whispers from Prophecy.

The cover proposal represents an awesome job by Trent, who is on the Design Team my publishing house has assigned to me. Trent worked absolute magic around a piece of original art created by Eva Sakmar-Sullivan. Even Eva has sung praises about the dramatic effects he accomplished!

Not to be outdone, a lovely young lady named Alison has definitely turned the heat up a notch on the interior design. No ordinary book this one, with her artistic touches.

I hope to have more book to discuss soon. Please! Those of you who are visiting should feel free to stop in and add your comments.

All the best!

To Sandra:

I have read your book Guardian Redeemed. I can tell you that it is one of the most romantic books I've ever read but it isn't what I call soppy. There are thoughtful edges that help the reader look deep into the characters who aren't shallow at all. In fact, I think your characters come across with unusual complexities that I can't remember seeing in other books I read.

I just wanted to tell you that I am really excited about discovering your book and I look forward to your next one. I can hardly wait.

Hello Angelfire! How glad I am to hear from you again! I am also happy to hear how much you enjoyed Guardian Redeemed. The writing of this book was such a special time in my life, although I must admit that it drew a great deal out of my heart and soul.

I feel about the characters as you do. They are very complex in the way they think and feel. I can't begin to explain how they actually make ME feel!

I hope to hear from you again in the near future.

Take care!
